Juri Han is the first South Korean character, the first Taekwondo user, and the first true villainess in the Street Fighter series. She made her debut in Super Street Fighter IV, where she is a main character in the storyline. Juri was created by request of many Korean fans who wished for Capcom to add a Korean character in Street Fighter, something already established by SNK and Namco in their respective fighting franchises.

Bio
Appearance
Juri wears a small, purple breastplate, supported with black straps that fastened to form a spider pattern on her back. She wears long, baggy, off-white colored trousers and purple tights, and long, fingerless gloves. Her fingernails and toenails are painted bright pink. She has dark hair styled into two horn-like bangs at the top of her head, which appear to be fastened with pink ribbons.
Personality
Juri is a warrior who fights for the thrill of the battle like Ryu and likes inflicting pain on her opponents. She has some femme fatale elements, as she makes provocative and suggestive remarks toward her enemies, and also leaves those she was working with for her own plans. She possesses a strong, sensual figure, but is a cunning and somewhat sadistic fighter with an urge to cause destruction to her most hated enemies like Bison. She is a calculating woman, callous to her foes at times, and treats her allies as pawns if needed. She Ingnores the rules at times to achieve her own goals. Despite her personality, also has a strong respect for fighters who give her a challenge such as Ryu (who she sees a true warrior) and is a fair fighter and even has honor. She will give her opponents a change to leave and only fights when she has to.
Story
Background
Juri was a prominent practitioner of Taekwondo when she was 15. Her father was a lawyer in charge of prosecuting organized crime operations. In this capacity, Shadoloo was his next target, causing her family to be kidnapped by that very organization. During the ordeal, Juri lost her parents and gravely wounded her left eye. In the S.I.N. laboratory, Juri undergoes an operation on her eye. She gains the Feng Shui Engine, which gives her incredible ki, speed and power.
Street Fighter 4 OVA
After the operation, Juri proceeds to assassinate operatives in a public area which was her first mission to test out the Feng Shui Engine. Even with guns, her enemies stood no chance against her as she took them out one by one by attacking them from behind. Chun-Li, Cammy and Guile were called to the scene to stop her massacre. Chun-Li rushes into the scene to arrest Juri, resulting in a battle that ended with Juri unleashing her eye's power to defeat Chun-Li. Just as she was about to finish Chun-Li, her Feng Shui Engine malfunctioned, forcing her to flee back to the lab.
After fixing it, Seth assigns Juri her next mission: capturing Bison's elite female assassins, the Dolls. Juri flies to the base of the dolls with several S.I.N. employees. She manages to defeat every single assassin in combat, including Juli and Juni. As she was carrying the two unconcious assassins away to an S.I.N plane, Cammy and Guile arrive. They have a heated fight, but Juri comes out on top and manages to incaptitate Guile. She boards her plane but Cammy manages to jump and grab onto the open boarding ramp, and confronts Juri. After an intense fight, Juri pushes Juni out of the plane's which collides with Cammy, who both fall off the boarding ramp into mid-air. Unluckily for Juri, they survive the fall as there was soft snow at the bottom of their fall.
Super Street Fighter IV
Juri is asked to compete in the World Warriors tournament, which she agrees to. She confronts Bison during the tournament, but the outcome of their battle is unknown. After Seth was beaten at the end of the tourament, she approached the incapacitated Seth and taunts him before destroying him by stomping on his Tanden Engine, revealing that she planned to become the new leader of S.I.N. all along (mostly likely so she can destroy shadowloo once and for all).

Juri is an offensively oriented character. She uses a few punches, but mostly uses kicks. Juri is a very flashy fighter who likes to toy with her opponent, and is used best in bursts of aggression. Like most characters that use Tae Kwon Do in fighting games (e.g. Kim Kaphwan and Hwoarang), she is a rushdown character.

Trivia
- Juri and Hwoarang are the only Koreans in the game.
- As shown in Street Fighter X Tekken Vita Episode 2, Juri has an iPhone that is purple and has a black spider sticker on it.
- When she defeats Hwoarang in a fight she will say "Talentless hack... You called those kicks? I was expecting much better." she shows her arrogance towards him.
- Her swap costume is almost the same of Zafina in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, the only difference lies in tthe color of the pants.
- She is the Street Fighter character equivalent to Bryan, Both share an almost identical personality, which makes them get along and recognize it in their respective victory quotes towards the other.
