- "You dare disappoint me... you die!"
- —Juri
Juri Han is the first South Korean character, the first Taekwondo user, and the first true villainess in the Street Fighter series. She made her debut in Super Street Fighter IV, where she is a main character in the storyline. Juri was created by request of many Korean fans who wished for Capcom to add a Korean character in Street Fighter, something already established by SNK and Namco in their respective fighting franchises.
Biography
A cruel female fighter who finds pleasure in destruction and the suffering of others. The powerful Feng Shui engine was implanted in one of her eyes by M. Bison, giving her incredible strength. M. Bison requests that Juri join him in his journey to the South Pole in search of the mysterious box that crash landed there.
Appearance
Juri has a small and thin torso, wearing a small, black & purple breastplate, supported with black straps that fastened to form a spider pattern on her back. Contrasting to that, she has long, muscular legs, with giant feet. She wears long, baggy, white colored pants with purple patterns. Her massive feet are adorned with black taekwondo wraps and bright pink painted toenails, and her hands have fingerless gloves, that also have their nails painted bright pink. She has dark hair styled into two horns at the top of her head.
Personality
Juri is a warrior who fights for the thrill of the battle, like Ryu, and likes inflicting pain on her opponents. She has some femme fatale elements, as she makes provocative and suggestive remarks toward her enemies, and also likes to leave those she is working with for her own plans. She possesses a strong, sensual figure, but is a cunning and somewhat sadistic fighter with an urge to cause destruction to her most hated enemies. She is a calculating woman, callous to her foes at times, and treats her allies as pawns if needed. She ignores the rules at times to achieve her own goals. Despite her personality, she also has a strong respect for fighters who give her a challenge such as Ryu (who she sees a true warrior) and is a fair fighter that even has honor. She will give her opponents a change to leave and only fights when she has to.

- —Juri
Juri is an offensively oriented character. She uses a few punches, but mostly uses kicks. Juri is a very flashy fighter who likes to toy with her opponent and is best used in bursts of aggression. Like most characters that use Tae Kwon Do in fighting games (e.g. Kim Kaphwan and Hwoarang), she is a rushdown character.

Rumor has it that after defeating Zafina who was sent to assassinate her, Juri took on her appearance in order to infiltrate the enemy camp.
Alternate
Apparently Juri was tasked with a mission that took place in a hospital, so she decided to dress for the part. Time for your medicine...
Trivia
- Juri and Hwoarang are the only Koreans in the game.
- As shown in Street Fighter X Tekken Vita Episode 2, Juri has an iPhone that is purple and has a black spider sticker on it.
- Her swap costume is almost the same as Zafina's in Tekken Tag Tournament 2. The only difference lies in the color of the pants.
- She is the Street Fighter character equivalent to Bryan with both sharing similar personality traits, which the two recognize in their respective victory quotes towards the other.
